Jonathan Minsky
President
Jonathan Minsky, co-founder and President of Kaihen, has over 15 years of consulting experience in the Energy industry. He possesses deep knowledge of Ontario’s electricity market and customer operations, with strong expertise in business process analysis, change and project management, and testing and training methodologies. Jonathan began his career with PwC and IBM, leading initiatives for Hydro Ottawa and Enbridge Gas Distribution. At Direct Energy, he oversaw business analysts supporting Group Operations and led the outsourcing of Texas operations. He was also a key member of the Ontario Energy Board’s Retail Market Readiness team, developing action plans for market opening issues.​

Pat Leahey
Director of Business Development
Pat leads business development at Kaihen, responsible for growing the company’s business with utilities across North America. With over 20 years of enterprise sales and marketing experience in global Fortune 500 and start-up organizations like PeopleSoft, Cognos, and Xerox, Pat has expertise in software sales, marketing, business development, consulting services, and technology product sales. He has held senior roles driving revenue growth and customer service programs across North America’s private and public sectors. Pat also has significant experience in developing and implementing partner and channel sales strategies for software and consulting services. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the University of Guelph.
Director, Project Delivery
Teresa Omand
With over 25 years in client delivery, Teresa brings extensive project management experience to the Kaihen team. She has primarily worked in the energy and financial industries, most recently at The Region of Durham, which won the Best CIS Implementation for mid-sized organizations. Teresa has a strong client focus and expertise in CIS, customer service, consumption, billing, payments, collections, and customer self-service portals. She also has experience with both on-premise and cloud-hosted solutions.
Liliana Machado
HR and Office Manager
Liliana is a Certified Human Resources Professional with over 15 years of experience, bringing strong analytical skills focused on internal and external stakeholders. She has mainly worked in the private sector with companies like RGI International, Nestle Canada, and Pernod Ricard Canada. Additionally, she worked with the World Bank in Colombia as a Budget Analyst, supporting individuals displaced by violence. Liliana holds a post-diploma in Human Resources from George Brown College and a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from Los Andes University in Colombia.
Mark Fukuzawa
Practice Lead, Organization and People
​Mark’s career spans over 35 years. For the last 7 years, Mark was a senior consultant for Sartor and Associates with a focus on strategy facilitation, succession planning, executive coaching and recruitment. Mark was also at Enercare leading strategic initiatives which included developing a 5-year technology roadmap. The rest of Mark’s career was spent at Hydro One with a focus on leading customer operations, developing corporate customer strategy, delivering enterprise system and renewable energy projects. Mark holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario and a MBA from the Schulich School of Business.

David McFadden
David is the Chair of the Boards of Directors of Toronto Hydro Corp., 407 International Inc., PCI Geomatics Inc. and Makwa Development Corp. He also serves on the Council for Clean and Reliable Energy.
David was a partner in Gowling WLG for over 30 years where he was a member of the Executive Committee and the Board of Trustees and served as Chair of the firm’s Energy and Infrastructure Industry Group.
Over the years, David has been involved in a number of organizations and initiatives in the energy sector having served as Chair of the Ontario Energy Association and of the Energy Transformation Network of Ontario. He also was a member of the Distribution Sector Review Panel of the Ontario Ministry of Energy.
David has also been active in the educational and charitable sectors having served as Chair of Board of the Ontario Centres of innovation and as Vice Chair and Member of the Board of Governors of York University. He is currently Chair of the Board of the Yonge Street Mission and a member of the Board of Theatre Collingwood.
Gordon Fife is Chief Executive Officer of McGuffin Partners, a business strategy and asset management company. He has over 25 years of management experience in a variety of industries.

As Executive Vice-President of Barrick Gold Corporation, he was responsible for the company’s operating strategy, business structure, merger integration and lean manufacturing. Gordon was a principal with PwC in the firm’s strategic change practice, where he worked on business transformations, restructurings, turnarounds, and merger integrations.
Gordon Fife
Kristi Honey
Kristi is the current Chief Administrative Officer for the Township of Uxbridge, a leading northern municipality in the Region of Durham.
She comes with more than 20 years of executive leadership in both the private and public sector, including starting a global consultancy at 25 that grew to a multi-million-dollar enterprise, recognized by Microsoft as a top 5% global partner. As former Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Ontario Power Generation, Kristi is a globally recognized cyber security expert. She focuses her free time on community service, serving as governor on the Trent University Board, and former chairperson of both the Durham College Board and the College Employers Council Boards. She has been recognized by Women of Influence as one of Canada’s leading women driving equality, diversity, and inclusion nationally and internationally.

Ralph joined the leadership team for Kaihen in May 2010 until Dec 2021 as a Director/Advisor. He launched the firm’s Customer Information System (CIS) Service Offering and managed strategic partnerships and key client accounts.

Ralph has served on the Kaihen Advisory Board since 2009. As a 50-year consulting veteran, Ralph has performed management and Industry Practice leadership in the management consulting and systems integration services business. Specializing in the Energy & Utilities (E&U) industry over the past three decades, he was the lead partner of the Canadian E&U practice at both PwC and IBM. He has performed the project management advisory role on major CIS transformational initiatives for utility clients with a focus on the provision of system and business processes that delivered successful business results and user adoption readiness.
Ralph Gardiner
Robert Huggard
Robert Huggard is the President of Lindaura Consulting, a management consulting practice in the energy and services industry.
Robert’s prior experience includes directing the Ontario Energy Association as President and CEO (2014 – 2016), leading Direct Energy as President of Home and Business Services from 2008 to 2009, as President of Canadian Operations from 2005 to 2007 and as Executive Vice President from 2002 to 2005.
Robert was an Independent Director with Crius Energy Trust and Guelph Hydro Electricity Systems Inc., as well he served on the Board of non-profit organization ProAction Cops & Kids. Additionally, he was Chairman and director of SCITI TR Limited and the Trustee of SCITI Total Return Trust from May 2006 to May 2011, and was the CEO of the Administrative Agent of The Consumers’ Waterheater Income Fund from 2002 to 2006.
